1. Acceptance
By creating an account on MediConnect, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older, or use the service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Doctors and hospitals must be legally registered and hold a valid license in India.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you upload. You must not upload content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringing. You must keep your credentials secret and notify us of any unauthorised access.
4. Doctor and hospital obligations
Doctors and hospitals must respect the boundaries of role-based access. They must not download, copy or share patient records outside the scope of the care they provide. Violations lead to suspension and legal action.
5. Medical disclaimer
MediConnect is a records and coordination platform. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified doctor. In life-threatening emergencies, dial 108 immediately.
6. Payments and refunds
Payments for appointments and premium services are processed by third-party gateways (Stripe / Razorpay). Refund eligibility is determined by the provider (doctor or hospital) and applicable law.
7. Availability and support
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is communicated in advance. Support is available 24×7 by email and phone.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, applicable law, or security policies.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MediConnect is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
